Prune Juice

Bb-G at her age is underweight and pead advised to feed her more with solids, cereal in the day time, porridge in the evening. On top of this, can also let her eat baby biscuits and jar food. However, her appetite is not big. Sometimes she could not finsh her milk and food. And having solids, she has some constipation too.

To avoid constipation and boost up her appetite, paed suggested Bb-G to drink prune juice and take Appeton Multivitamins for Infants.
Therefore, yesterday I bought the multivits from a pharmacy.

Took 2 pieces of prunes from the fridge, cut into smaller cubes, added some water and boiled for some time until the prunes become soggy.

I poured out the juice into a cup and let it cool off.

Then add 1ml of multivits (as instructed in the leaflet)into the juice.

And Bb-G really loves her new beverage. I hope she can eat more and pass motion easily. ^_^
We will check her weight in another 2 months time and see how she progress.

  3. Hmm...actually I'm not too sure if the Sunsweet prunce juice suitable for baby or not (only given to baby XJ when she is 1 year +). But if dilute with water should be fine gua. MIL usually boil those chinese 'liang cha' for baby under 1 year old especially kekwa and barli. No sugar added.
