Telepathy

I always believe in telepathy. Sometimes I have the same thoughts with the person I am close with, like Papa-M . For eg., before I want to say out my opinion of certain topic, then Papa-M already spoke before me. Or if I call(via phone) to Papa-M and tell him what I want to eat for dinner, he will also said the same food! The feeling is like, we can see through each other's mind.
But, I also discover another type of telepathy between Papa-M and Bb-G. This morning when I woke up, I saw this.


Same way of sleeping but on different beds. Maybe (in their dreams) they already "told" each other how to sleep

Breakfast

Last Saturday, after Bb-G woke up and had her milk, Papa-M (out of the blue) wanted to bring us out for breakfast. So after I brushed my teeth and washed my face, we immediately drove off to our favourite coffee house.It is a modern kopitiam cafe, with a touch of Hainanese feel. The tauke makes his coffee and tea behind a open concept bar. By the side of the bar he has a full collection of coca-cola.


The food is not bad too, the owner even published a book, introducing his kopitim and his recipes. So I ordered a bowl of Sarawak laksa. Very different from the normal curry laksa. It has some the taste of different spices and herbs.


Papa-M ordered a plate of chicken rendang nasi lemak.

An extra roti jala for sharing too.

Bb-G was still in her pyjamas, just that I changed her wet diaper and put on her cloth diaper before we came out from the house.

She was doing her demo again, goyang kepala...!

Bath Tub

I never regret the things I bought for Bb-G, even for those which I bought bofore she came out to the world. I heard many people will commend that no need to buy this, no need to buy that, end of the day you won't use it, and waste money ...etc..
Well, I don't really agree ,maybe the things that I bought really very handy and useful. One of the big stuffs that I bought was a 2-in-1 changing table with bathtub. Some mothers said that this product is not useful because we can change our babies on the bed. And if want to bathe the baby, can always use a normal bath tub.
This typical tub my mother bought for me. But I seldom use. Because I need to squat down, and find it very difficult, moreover I did a C-section, therefore not easy for me to bathe Bb-G on the floor.

I like to use this bath tub because it is the height of a table, and I can just stand and put Bb-G in the tub to enjoy her bath. Then I only need to pull down the table top and let her lie down and dry her up after the bath. So easy.
True enough, she really enjoys sitting in the bathtub and let me (as if I am the maid) pampering her like a princess!

Minnie Mouse

Nowadays, I like to do online shopping especially for baby's stuffs. Moreover it is quite difficult to bring Bb-G out for shopping when I am alone. And if Papa-M is around, we usually hunt for food more than doing shopping, unless for some urgent groceries. Before CNY, I bought some clothes for Bb-G, a piece of kimono (posted prevously under Sushi-King) and another piece was a Minnie Mouse costume. She wore this during Chap Goh Meh lunch and everybody was saying "Oh, so cute!"
Indeed, all babies will look cute when they wear nice animated costumes. And mothers can only make them wear when they are still babies. If they grow up, they would not want to wear this type of costume anymore...

Limited Edition

A company is now selling a Football. So one day I asked Papa-M if he is interested or not. My colg is quite interested too to buy for her hubby. So I went to the sales counter and asked the price.
I came back to my workstation and asked my colg to guess how much is the ball. She said " RM 50" nop, "RM30" nop, and I gave her one more chance , she said "RM20"
ALL WRONG ! I told her is "RM X" . And she was so shocked!

Then I called Papa-M, and asked him the same question, he said "RM50", "RM30" , "RM20" exactly like my colg did. So when I told him the right figure, he cried back and say "go to die la"

Then my colg also called her husband and asked the same question. Over the phone, the husband said "RM20?" and "RM50?" So my colg also told him the right figure and her husband said the same phrase "go to die la"

Wakakakakkkaa, it was so damn funny. We laughed and laughed and laughed non stop.

..RM 1000 ! for one single football

Goyang Goyang

I noticed that nowadays, babies learn things faster than those babies during my era. And some toddlers can even read or talk or sing fluently by age 2 -3. For example, my aunty's daughter who is now 3years old, can read ABC...to Z and 1,2,3... . And she can write very well too even the Chinese characters. And those writing that she does supposedly was something I did during my kindergarten, about 6 years old..

Bb-G too, I feel that she picks things quite fast. For example, one day I "ter-cough" when I was feeding her. She suddenly startled and looked at me at that moment. Then, the very next day until now she starts to cough "happily", and at few times a day. And when she is coughing she would look at me to see if I have any reaction. Even when I am feeding her, she would stop for a while and cough, looking at me, smiling.

Then, when we were in Genting, I brought her into a souvenir shop, which happen to sell some decorative items. There is one whole row of solar induce shakable car decorater, with different types of designs, for eg, flowers, butterfly, and even dolls.

So Bb-G was so mesmerized. She looked or I should say stared hard at the dolls without blinking her eyes. And guess what, when we are back home, I noticed that she shakes her head alot, just like those goyang goyang dolls!

One Baby = Many Things

I must admit that a baby really needs a lot of "equipment". At my house or in my room alone, I have these.

The cradle especially, helps me a lot. When I am busy while Bb-G goes cranky and wants to sleep, I can put her inside the sarong and let her sleep in a gentle rocking way. Then I can do lots of work, for example cook, tidy up the house, sweep & mop, do my laundry etc..
Then for the baby cot, I can put her inside when I am in the room putting some skincare, folding some clothes, arranging the clothes back into the wardrobe etc..This is to prevent Bb-G from falling down in case she turns and turns on my bed.
And sometimes, after reaching home from work, I can just easily put her either in the cradle or cot so that I can bathe. (this all happen only when Bb-G and me at home, Papa-M usually works late during weekdays)

Anyway, something goes wrong these few days. Bb-G refused to be put into the cot or cradle when we reach home from nanny's place. ANd I cannot go to bathe. SHe is very clinging, keep asking for my attention and want to see my face. Oh I think she miss me too much , haha!
She would cry and very loud somemore. So when I was bathing, I really need to use my super fast action mode to wash my hair, clean my face and scrub my body. All these within 10 minutes!

So, I decided to bring in another equipment into my room, the Fisher-Price high chair bought previously. This chair is for her to sit during feeding time, or she can be with us when the adults are having meals at the dining table. But now, it is very useful. A place for her to sit and watch 18PG+18SX+R-rated movie

Tired of one-man-show
Better find something to eat, since no pop-corns!


Mummy, next time remember to buy pop-corn for me ar, if not baby biscuit oso can, ok?

Yau Char Kwai

I went out to the mall for a short market research with a colg last week, and of course we had our lunch there.

This particular kiosk has the concept of "yau char kwai" , the owner mix and match the bread stick with different types of dishes , eg., yau char kwai + soy milk , yau char kwai + sweet beancurd ..etc...

So I choosed this combination - yau char kwai + porridge. One set is RM3.90.
We can have this and pay around RM2.00 in normal shop.
Well, it is a little bit expensive but no choice, I believe the rental of the kiosk is high since it is in a supermall.

I ordered a glass of soybean too. The porridge and bread stick are a bit too salty for me...

Vegetarian

Yesterday evening, after putting Bb-G to sleep, I could feel myself a bit hungry. Was thinking to eat bread with cheese but forgot to buy bread for the week. Went into the kitchen cabinet and did some ransack, realised that my mum actually gave me a pack of instant noodles. She got it from a temple, asked me to eat for "平安".


So I searched my fridge to see if I have any complimentary ingredients to add into my noodles. I found some lettuce and beancurd skin. Oh that's really very VEGETARIAN, fit to the concept of this E-Zee Mee!



Then I saw some bottles of bird nest water by the side door of the fridge. I think my mother-in-law bought them back. I am not sure if bird nest falls under the category "VEGETEARIAN" as I was thinking to have a full vegetarian meal.
ANyway, I enjoyed my dinner, all thanks to both my beloved mothers for their kind supplies. ^_^

Fondue

During company annual dinner, I got one RM50 Isetan voucher during the draw.
So I bought myself a chocolate fondue, worth RM49.90, after discount is RM 39.90. The balance of the voucher I bought an extra chocolate fondue sauce.
Very excited to organize a small fondue party in the office. Since Papa-M never likes this type of sweet food, might as well I share with my colgs first.. yum yum.
Think tomorrow I shall buy some fruits during the lunch, and then by tea time, I shall invite my colgs for the dessert!

Genting Trip 20/3/2010

By March every year, I will attend the annual dinner in Genting Highlands.

Last year due to my pregnancy (4 months) I did not go for the dinner. Papa-M said the environment would be too loud, lots of performance on stage, it was not good for our Bb-G in the womb. So, I just rested in the hotel room.

This year, BbG was with us. In order not to let me miss the dinner this year, Papa-M arranged my mother-in-law to help us babysit our child. MIL's best friend also tagged along. Since both the experienced mothers were there, I could really enjoy myself that night.

This year, the dinner was based on the Oriental theme. And surprisingly, the theme for my company 2010 annual dinner was Shanghai Romance. Both having the same concept.

During my company annual dinner, I wore a long cheongsum dress. I borrowed from my mother. She wore during my wedding. Haha!



I wore the blue cheongsam bought from Shanghai few years back. Felt a liitle bit tight now in this suit.


Papa-M's brother and future wife also came for the dinner. 2 clients of Papa-M could not make it at the last minute, so both of them came to replace the seats.

Before the dinner started, some free gifts were distributed to all guests. The dragon beard candy
and handmould animal candy. Cute ler.


I took these for Bb-G.

The food was good and tasty. Some performance like lion dance, dragon dance, karaoke contest, awards giving to best employees, magic show, lucky draw and of course the most enjoyable one was the "Bian Lian". The performer could change their mask very fast! This photo too blur because his action was too fast, my camera does not have the anti-shock function.


The next morning (Sunday),we went out for breakfast. Some photos of Bb-G when she was in the hotel early in the morning. She woke up at 6.19 for milk.
