Yesterday colg and me went to Sunway Pyramid and we went to an Arabian restaurant for lunch. Honestly, I really love Mediterranean food..
The restaurant is Mandi Hadramot, and specialised in nasi bryani. We ordered Mandy Lamb Nasi Bryani...wowww....trust me, it was very very very nice and flavourful. The lamb was so soft and it could easily melt in the mouth...
We also ordered a chicken dish, I cannot remember the name, but taste equally good too, we ate this with the Arabian bread.
As for beverage, we order Arabian tea, to wash off the "fat" that we consumed...hehehe
I will go to this place again..and again....and again....
One day I took Bb-G to a hypermarket after her Math class. We just did some window shopping after a heavy lunch. When we walked to the "furniture" department, we spotted 2 mini display sofas which were so cute till this girl buat macam rumah sendiri
Yesterday I bought some sushi from Jusco for our dinner. Papa-M came back home late, so I just kept the sushi in the fridge for his supper.
When Bb-G knew our dinner last night was sushi, she was happy and requested to decorate the sushi into a sushi plate. I thought we could just eat directly from the package, anyway she was so happy, I obliged.
Decoration in progress, or I should say "transfer-ration" in progress...hehe
Once completed I thought we could eat on the dining table, but again, she requested me to bring over the plate to the couch, and said this to me, " come mummy, let's go there and eat, siang shou a bit lar"
Wa..wa...wa.... oklar, since only 2 of us at home, I took the plate and we ate on the couch while watching TV.
She really enjoyed her food and almost ate all the sushi while I just ate a few pieces...
Me: wah....you really siang shou ar...
Bb-G: mmm...yes...(and start to whisper) don tell dadddy ar...is our secret to eat at the sofa...
Hahaha...
Daddy always has a very tight discipline on his daughter, which is no tv during meals, and must eat her food on the dining table....etc..etc..
Well.....
WE, as human Being, do need some space and relaxation....things cannot be always so stiff and rigid the more we want to control, the more rebelious the "person kena controlled" will be...
I think. discipline with a space of flexibility works better....if not, Bb-G will have more and more secrets ....
I have dry skin (especially body). And my skin is sensitve "seasonly". Sometimes my skin will easily itched. The dryness on my legs, arms, tummy, chests and back causes itchiness which sometimes unbearable. I even had a severe skin problem years ago, where doctor said it was keratin paralysis. Red rashes all over the arms and legs, and they itched
Few weeks ago, my skin started to itch again. I suspect the body wash that I use was the culprit. In fact, I used this body wash before, maybe my skin has reached the tolerance level.
Last Sunday when I was having a potluck dinner in my friend's house, she said she never uses soap at all. She uses fruits to bathe/shower and even scrubs her face. She even makes her own colour cosmetics, such as face powder, eye liner, etc...What a NATURALIST !! And I can even notice her face was brighter and more even toned. (previously she had dark spots/pigments)
I was inspired by her greatly and since then, I stopped using body wash. I used fruit instead - the LEMON. I bought few lemons from the supermarket and wash them thoroughly to ensure the lemon skin is free from wax and pesticide. Then I cut into quarters and keep into airtight container and store in the fridge. All I need is to get a piece of the cut lemon, and just squeeze the lemon juice into a wet clothes and start to rub and scrub my body. Believe me, the citrusy note of the lemon really "shiok" and each time after shower, I feel my skin was smoothen and certain part was brighter too (like the neck area and armpit)
True enough, ever since I started my lemon bath regime, my skin less itch (well, certain part like the tummy still itch a little but sooth down very quickly) .
I am really looking forward to each shower time now! Ha...ha...ha...
Besides English and Mandarin, Bb-G learns Bahasa Melayu too in the school. So, kadang-kadang I akan berbual dengan Bb-G dalam Bahasa Melayu juga....
Conversation 1:
Bb-G: Mummy why you always call me ARNAB? I am not a rabbit wat?
Me: Huh? I never call you arnab....
Bb-G : Yes, every morning you call me arnab, and I call you Ibu...
Me: Oooo....I say, selamat pagi ANAK, and you say selamat pagi Ibu ...is anak, not arnab, okkk??
Bb-G: oooooo (smiles)
Conversation 2 :
It was hazy this few days and the sky was "grey" and the sun was covered by the haze which can be seen through like a orange salted egg yolk. While driving in a morning on the way to school...which I have to pass through neighbourhood and trees
Bb-G: wah...mummy, you see the moon, how come morning can see the moon?
Me: No...that is a sun...It was covered by haze, tats why it is blur and you can see directly with your eyes..
Bb-G : "Talk cock" lar...
Me: HUh?? what you say??? tok-kok???
Bb-G: I say, the sun covered by the POKOK lar, not haze...see i cannot see the sun already, behind the tree...
Hahaha..
Bb-G, 4years-9months-25days old
Lately my colleague bought some kerepek from her hometown. She let us try and all of us like it because the kerepek were very crispy and cruchy, and fresh too. So, we get her to buy more for us.
For a huge pack like the picture below, it only cost RM8.
I personally prefer "chili-gravy" coated kerepek. I loved the spiciness and the sweetness from the chili very much.
However, the one that was sold to us was chili powder + sugar dusted kerepek....nevertheless they are still tasty....
Time flies so fast....
It is June now, half a year nearly gone. I always feel that once June is over, the rest of the months can really move very very fast !!
I am thinking to go for a trip, but wondering where...and when....
Eversince Bb-G starts to go to school, I always have to think how to make a proper arrangement for trips/holidays.
Well, even though she is only 5 years old, and she is only a kindy student, I still do not like her to skip class, especially her weekly mental math class.
And usually during school holiday, all places would be packed, and hotels, flight would be more expensive.
In my mind I have some holiday plans....
1) I plan to go to Hong Kong, to bring Bb-G to Disneyland
2) I plan to go to Hainan Dao, to go with my parents (or to organize a Tan family entourage for "balik kampong" visit )
3) I plan to Korea, with Papa-M and Bb-G, especially escape to Jeju Island
4) I plan to Taiwan, really hope can meet my friend, SP
5) I plan to go to Australia, especially Melbourne to visit friends and my aunty
So many plans....haiz...dono which one can jadi ......
Last Friday we went out for dinner after work.
Bb-G wanted to eat udon and sushi. Papa-M wanted to have Chinese Hunan dishes...We drove along an array of shoplots where a Japanese restaurant and a Hunan restaurant are nearby to each other.
A conversation in the car.
Papa-M : Bb-G, you wan to eat Hunan or you want to eat Japanese food?
Bb-G: Hunan (well, she saw the Hunan signboard, and we ate in this restaurant before)
Me: You ask her Hunan or Japanese , she sure said Hunan lar.... (knowing Papa-M's "strategy")
So, I asked Bb-G again..
Me: Bb-G, what you want to eat? Hunan or udon and sushi?
Bb-G : I wan udon !
Hehehe..... 2 votes won the battle (actually I also want to eat Jap food)
It was our first time to this Japanese restaurant. I quite like the design of the seating place we were ushered to. The sofa was in round shape, and enclosed, which I find some little privacy for us. The only drawback was the high sofa , it was quite inconvenient to get a waiter/waitress.
Anyway, the food was pleasant and tasty. To fulfil Bb-G's crave, I ordered a pork soup udon set which came with a small bowl of appetizer (fried egg), salmon sashimi and a crab handroll. I also ordered her favourite tamago sushi and cucumber sushi.
She finished a considerably huge portion of udon, the appetizer, one tamago sushi and 3 cucumber sushi. And she enjoyed the salmon sashimi too.
For the 1st time we let her try raw fish, and this girl enjoyed it so much as if she was eating jelly. Ahhhhh.....I found my sashimi kaki !!
Papa-M took this picture, I wonder why she had this "weird look" ...konon konon curi makan sashimi kot...
Papa-M had fried crispy pork curry set rice. The curry was flavourful.
I randomly picked and choosed ala carte dishes from the menu. Besides the extra order of salmon sashimi (yah, the first plate was simply not enough) , I ordered this avocado+unagi sushi. Taste good too
We had a satisfactory dinner on a FEEL GOOD FRIDAY NIGHT !
My current hair length...sudahpun panjang, thinking to cut it short....still thinking....and thinking
....perhaps I can also look like Dora.....an old Dora.... hahahaha
(a) I was watching show with my tab, and Bb-G was watching her show with her tab. My line was a bit slow and lag.
Me: Aiyo....so slow,sien ar
Bb-G : hey, can you be patient or not? You have to be patient, patient...why always complain?
Me: Your line no problem, if your line is slow, you also throw temper wat....
Bb-G: tsk ..(and jeling me)
(b) I was lazy lying on my bed but I was thirsty...
Me: Eh, help me bring in my water bottle, is on the dining table
Bb-G : Tat is your water bottle rite? you go and take it on your ownla
Me: Eh , can you be so rude to me or not?
Bb-G: I told you already, 自己的东西,自己拿 ....i always ask you to brush my teeth, wash my face and wash my bum bum, and help me wear pajamas, you ask me ownself do wat....
Hhmmmpppph ....I want to cekik her already!
It is not difficult to make friends, but it is not easy to make true friends.
I've got to know this lady, let's call her J.
She is an owner of a small boutque , just nearby my office. I know her because I went into her shop during lunch time. Her collection of clothes suit me very much, and I mostly buy my working or leisure clothes from her. Soon, J and me become friends.
Last year, J was forced to close down her boutique because the mall she lease her shop was taken back by the government for some development project. And eversince then, we didn't get to see each other, but, we can see each other updates via Facebook.
Sometimes, we chat via Whatsapps too.
Recently, during Papa-M's chicken pox time, Bb-G's sick time and my sick time, J had really showed me a lot of concern. I was very touched by her, and I have never thought that our relationship appear as if we know each other for so long like old friends.
She did these during our sick time
1) When she knows i had sore throat, she bought me a box of manuka honey candy, and bring all the way to office for me.
2) After I finish the candy, she even bought agin another 2 boxes
3) When Papa-M had his chicken pox, she came over to my house and passed me 2 bottles of 1.5litre herbal tea, and even bought a chicken pox scar recovery cream for Papa-M
4) She constantly send me messages telling me to drink a lot of water, take care of myself when i am sick, and keep asking me how was Bb-G when she was hospitalised.
Yesterday I helped her to buy some products from my company, she gave me a roast peanut and dumpling (bak zhang)
Anyway, I truly treasure such friendship.....感恩感恩
We went back to Papa-M's hometown some time ago, during April, and we went to this Thai restaurant for a good lunch.
The dishes we had..
Appetizer - I think each table were served before main meals as complimentary. Very refreshing slices of cucumber , dip with their "oomph" sambal belacan
Two types of not spicy dishes, ordered specially for Bb-G.
Tofu with cauliflower in gravy, a kiddo food. Bb-G finished this dish on her own.
Fried bittergourd with eggs, Bb-G's favourite too
Between tomyam and kensom, I prefer kensom, so Papa-M ordered this dish, Kensom Fish & Coconut. Spicy, sour and sweet.
Papa-M's favourite - Curry petai with prawns
Kerabu Mango
There was another chicken dish, but I think I didnt take the photo
I ordered this for my beverage. I always like this type of Thai soy drink, it has a distinctive soy taste
All of us enjoyed the food so much, so did Bb-G who only ate the tofu and bittergourd. She gave me a MUAK when i ordered her favourite food.....tee hee...
Recently I have been watching a few Chinese dramas (China production) and all were my favourite type of show - stories based on Qing Dynasty
Months ago I watched The Legend of Zhen Huan. I really like this show so much. Although there were about 70+ (can't remember) episodes, but each episode was not draggy. And towards end of each episode would be the climax and it triggered me to continue to watch another episode, and another episode, and another episode........
After Zhen Huan, I searched for another similar show from youtube. I found the Palace III - The Lost Daughter.
When I watched the 1st epi, i found the story line very similar to a drama I watched very long long time ago, if I am not mistaken, it was a drama by Qiong Yao, under Mei Hua San Nong, Mei Hua Lao.
The story was about swapping babies, and end up, both babies after grown up became lovers...
I found this show a bit draggy, but each time when I want to stop following the show, some new chapter or plot or twist of story came into the picture. And then, I was hooked again. Anyway, I finished this show last week.
During the weekend, I searched for another palace drama from youtube again. And I found the Palace II - The Locked Beaded Curtain. Supposedly I should watch this 2nd part of Palace, before I watched the 3rd part. Anyway...doesn't matter, as both dramas never link at all.
(oh ya, I watched the first part, Palace I , few years ago, and only realise there is a continuation)
I am still watching this drama, and I like it too.
Now, Bb-G realised I really enjoy such Chinese drama, so one day, she also entertained me by digging out her princess hair band, a purple coat and a red long dress, and dressed like a Qing Princess.....LOL
(Bb-G, age @ 4years-9months-4days)
Papa-M, Bb-G and myself participated in a marathon this month, and we were the champion !
1st May.
Papa-M complained he was lethargic and body ache after his golf. Then he started to feel feverish and body heaty. Fever didnt subside for few days and he went for blood test. Blood platelet dropped, suspect dengue.
4th May
Papa-M admitted to the hospital at night. Did a dengue test.
5th May
I was on leave, I went to the hospital in the morning after I sent Bb-G to school. When I saw Papa-M, his face was full of rashes. I had never seen so much rashes in my life before. Since the report was not ready yet, I spoke to his attending nurse. According to the nurse, some mosquito bite could really produce a lot of rashes.
(I did not have any rashes when I had dengue)
Report came out, dengue test NEGATIVE. Felt glad. Papa-M had chicken pox. He was discharged immediately.
6th, 7th, 8th, 9th May
I was on leave at home, taking care of the sick chicken pox patient. Papa-M had poxes all over his body, even in the throat. He couldn't eat , so bought a lot of yogurt and coconut juice to cool sdown his throat heat. He couldn't sleep well because many big poxes on the scalp and they hurt. When he felt less pain, I cooked misuah for him. I even went to an Indian friend's house to get some neem leaves. The Indian friend taught me to blend the neem leaves with tumeric, and apply on his body. This remedy speed up the healing process, and to prevent itchiness. My friend told me to boil the neem leaves and make it into bath water too.
10th, 11th May
Papa-M felt better. (yah...after many days of my dedicative care)
12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th
Papa-M quarantine at home stil. But I was back to work. I cooked him porridge in the morning before went to work.
17th May
My parents came to visit. Parents were surprised to see Papa-M, he lost weight, 7kg reduction!
Mom said he looked "so handsome" .....hahahaha
After 2 weeks, Papa-M's condition improved. Poxes dried up. We went out for a nice dinner with parents.
18th May
Woke up in the morning and noticed Bb-G was down with fever. Gave her fever medicine. The fever did not subside, so I took her to the clinic at the evening. Papa-M and me had actually suspected chicken pox. Doctor saw red throat, prescribed antibiotic. I stayed up at night to monitor her temperature, constantly tepid sponge her.
19th May
Fever did not subside at all. I suspect the antibiotic not working. I on leave, she skipped class. She even vomited. I took her to her peaditrician in the evening. The doctor changed the existing antibiotic. Her fever was bad at night, so I did not sleep and monitor her temperature. tepid sponge too.
20th May
After taking the new antibiotic, Bb-G's fever subsided finally. But I fell sick. I had fever and shiver in cold. Papa-M took me to the clinic in the morning while my sister took care of Bb-G at home. When I was in the clinic, my temperature already reached 39 deg, doctor gave me a jab and immediately let me had the fever medicine. He saw inflammation in my throats. I also had some flu and cough. He prescribed me with strong medicine so that I could rest. He gave me 3 days off from work.
Luckily sister was at home helping me to take care of Bb-G while I slept. The medicine was so strong that made me sleep from 9.30am till 4pm. I think I was too tired too...
In the evening, Bb-G fever came back again. Sister and me took turn to tepid sponge her.
21st May
I felt better after rest and medicine the day before. But Bb-G still had fever. She lost her appetite, and cough and flu developed.
22nd May
Bb-G's fever remain. In the evening, I took her back to the peaditrician. Doctor immediately sent her for blood test. Suspect dengue.
Report came out and luckily dengue negative, however fever caused by viral. Doctor suggested to give another antibiotic, and if the condition did not improve in 2 days time, Bb-G had to admit to the hospital. I told doctor to admit right away, because Bb-G was stil having fever. Doctor agreed.
Due to so many days of fever, Bb-G was dehydrated too (lack of water and vomit). Her blood vessels collapsed and the attending medical officer could not even find her veins. Eventually the peaditrician came for help. They took another batch of blood for further investigation.
The ward was ready by 11pm. Bb-G was pushed to her ward, and I stayed with her. She started to cough non-stop , continously for an hour. And it stopped for a while and she coughed again by 3am, 5am, 7am....
23rd May
Peaditrician came for ward visit. Mycoplasma test negative. Glad. But since she coughed so badly since last night, Bb-G was sent for chest X-ray. X-ray report came clean, no pneumonia sign.
However, her cough lesser, and she was very active since the doctor administered the correct medicine and treatment.
24th May
Discharged. Felt happy. After we reached home, doctor called and said the H1N1 test is positive, and told us to go back to the hospital to take the medicine. Bb-G had to stay at home for a week, no school for her.
25th, 26th, 27th, 28th
My mom came over to take care of Bb-G, while I went back to work.
Conclusion - May 2014, the sick marathon.....
All of us are well now.
Yesterday was the Labour Day. Papa-M went out early in the morning for his golf. I slept till 9am and when I opened my eyes, I saw Bb-G came into my room and she said she wanted to lepak with me. Both of us enjoyed the comfort of the soft blanket and the nice cooling aircon. We lazed on the bed for another hour and eventually we woke up by 10am. (sudah hungry)
Bb-G requested scramble egg, strawberry millk and steam mantou for her breakfast. (usually she drinks her own milk). When I was making her breakfast, she was in her room. I didnt know what she did while I was in the kitchen, until we finished our breakfast and when I went to her room, I saw this
I told her she should make her dad fatter, this daddy in the picture is too thin...heheheheeh
And she told me this pulak, " One dad, one mom, one sister, and where is the brother???"
Alamak!
Anyway, what a nice present , yah....May/June, the month to celebrate parents' day
Bb-G, now age @ 4years-7months-2days old
A casual dinner we had outside from home.
Papa-M ate this - bitter gourd rice, tambah telur mata
Bb-G ate this - her all time favourite, Hokkien Mee
And how about me????
2 crabs , butter cream recipe, I wallop all by myself ^_*
Both of them finished their food much much faster than me, and patiently waited for me.
Seriously, after finished eating the crabs, my fingers cramped because I constantly held the crab with my fingers for 2 hours!
And thank you very much to Papa-M for "belanja-ing" me the nice crabs (sempena Labour Day rewards huh)
I know I know, Frozen is very popular now, my daughter EVERYDAY also want to watch Frozen, either from the DVD her dad bought, or via youtube. EVERYDAY she pretends she is the Queen Elsa, and EVERYDAY she sings the songs from the Frozen.
Anyway, I am not writing about the Frozen movie today...
Eversince I start the practice of preparing dinner every weekday, I feel very happy. Reasons?
One, I do not need to think what to ta pao everynight
Two, I reach home from work with dinner done
Three, We can eat dinner together everyday as a family . "We" means Papa-M, Bb-G & me. Imagine last time husband and me settled our dinner separately almost everyday
AND....I love the fourth reason the most.
Bb-G will tell me this everyday " mummy's food is very nice, thank you mummy for cooking for me"
One weekday when I was on leave, Papa-M told me not to cook and suggested to bring us out for dinner. We had a long time persuading Bb-G to eat at the restaurant because she insisted to eat my homecook food at home! Hahaha..
Usually I will buy the food ingredients (vegs, meat, fish, etc) for a week use. I dare not buy too much to keep because I have lack of place in the freezer. Well, many people told me I have a big fridge with 3 doors, and yet I am still complaining I do not have enough place to keep my stuffs???
Well, the "first door" is the normal compartment. It is large enough for my usage. "Second door" is another sufficient compartment for me to keep vegs and fruit. "3rd door" is actually the freezer. Well, the freezer is divided into 2 compartments. The upper deck is divided into 2 parts too, one part is to keep the ice cubes (automatically made after we pour water into a box stored at the 1st door) And this ice cube storage place is so huge that can store hundreds of cubes. So, the rest of the space was quite tight and narrow. I always find it very hard to squeeze in my stuffs. Most of the time when Papa-M said he wanted to buy ice-cream and keep at home, I REJECTED his request, simply because there is not more space for his ice-cream. Kesian right....
So, last week, when I was in the office working in front of my computer, and suddenly I thought about my fridge again. (yah, I have been thinking about the space issue in my fridge since many many weeks ago). And with a very determined heart, I intercom one of my colgs in another department.
Me: Eh, I want to go out now, your boss there ar? Want to follow me? My boss today on leave.
Colg : Go where?
Me: Accompany me to buy a freezer, want ar?
Colg: Huh?? Now? How long?
Me: Very fast wan, go to any electrical shop and pick one. then settle, we come back. I think 1 hour like that can gao tim.... I drive , very fast wan
Colg : OKOK... let's go
And that was about 11am.
So, I drove my colg to Onking, told the person-in-charge to show me the freezers they have. He introduced me Faber chest freezer and an upright freezer. I chose the former, simply because it is cheaper and then the size is not too bulky and just right for a space in my kitchen. And without much delay, I quickly "ON" the deal. I passed him my credit card and settled the payment. I even told him to send to my house ASAP, if possible on that day itself too. But it was impossible to arrange, therefore, it was arranged to the next day for delivery.
On the next day, the freezer was sent to my house. Actually Papa-M was outstation when I made the purchase and when the freezer was delivered. When he came back home, he saw the freezer and started to nag nag nag....He complained why I bought the freezer without consulting or dicussed with him....etc...etc....Well, it was too late, goods purchased cannot be returned. Nyek Nyek Nyek
Hummpph...guess what, after so much nagging and complain from Papa-M, he went to buy ice cream and put in MY FREEZER. And he bought SIX TUBS !! Oh Well well well, I am always a good and benevolent person, I always share MY FREEZER with all the family members... Hahahaahahahah
Faber Chest Freezer, think it is 100liter??? Can't rememebr actually. Size is just nice to fit in, next to my laundry machine.
It has a mini basket too.
This is my way of keeping frozen meat. I marinated the meat and keep in individual container. Each container is a portion for a meal. So far, I have minced meat, roast pork, spare ribs, prawns, fish, sausages, and other food stuffs enough for many many weeks.
Somebody kepoh when I was snapping the photo, saw the fingers?
This little girl is happy with the freezer too, because she can eat iceeeee crreeeeeammmm ^_*
My mom is well-known of making jelly at home in my hometown. Whenever there is any occasion, be it family gathering, party, or Hainan huiguan functions, she will definitely make her signature jelly.
Lately I bought her some cute jelly moulds from my previous visit to Perth. Since then, she keeps asking my mother-inlaw to help her get more moulds whenever my inlaws went to that country.
Till to day, my mom has a total of 10 new moulds in her collection....
1) A big castle mould
2) A set of 6 insects mould (butterfly, ladybird, dragonfly)
3) A set of 6 presents box mould
4) A set of gingerbread man mould
5) A set of dinosaur mould
6) A set of duckling mould
7) A set of love shape mould
8) A set of fish mould
9) A set of Santa Claus head mould
10) A set of star shape mould
And recently, mom had been making a lot of castle jelly as birthday present for my aunt, cousins and sister. Everyone who received her jelly castle would be very happy...
I really salute my mom for her patience, because her jelly is usually very colourful and she do it layer by layer. It requires time and determination to finish a piece of jelly.
I begin to realise Bb-G can really "talk" now, and sometimes could be real "sharp"
Story 1 :
Eversince we always eat dinner at home, during dinner, or after dinner she will say this to me,
"Thank you mummy for cooking food for me"
Awwww....so sweet huh....
Story 2 :
Few days ago she forgot to bring back her water bottle from the school. So I reminded her to bring back home the next day, but still. she forgot. Then, another day she forgot to bring back her rubber band (to tie hair), so again I reminded her to bring it back home too.
So one day on the way to school
Me: Eh you remember to bring back your water bottle, I told you so many times already, you still never bring back, and also remember your colourful rubber band, I also told you many times, must remember to bring back your stuffs from the school, but everytime you promise and then you forget about it ...(i was still talking)....
Bb-G: Arrrrrrrggggghhhh.....noisy ar....! (she covered her ears with hands)
Wah! cannot imagine. I mean sometimes I do think my mom could be a little naggy, but I do not cover my ears when she is talking to me , and I never say she is noisy!!!!!
Story 3:
Papa-M went to China for business purpose. So she told me this
Bb-G: Mummy I told teacher Pricilla daddy went to China.
Me: Ooo...why you tell her? she ask you?
Bb-G: No la, she never ask me. I just tell her la, later she didn't see daddy...
Me: Ooo
Bb-G: Daddy go China for wat?
Me: For meeting
Bb-G : for meeting ar? I think he go there to SLEEP la...
Ha ha ha....Papa-M, you went there to sleep ka????
Story 4:
This happened yesterday. I was tired last night after work. So I slept and lepak on the bed. She came towards me and asked me to tie plait for her.
Me: Don wan la, I am dizzy....
Bb-G: What dizzy?
Me: My head pain la..
Bb-G: Your head pain? huh ? you say your head pain is it?
Me: yes la....you tie your own hair, i need to rest
Bb-G: you tel me again, your head pain is it? Huh? You head pain or your hand pain? You use head to tie my hair ar?? Huh? or you use your hand to tie my hair? heiyer....
Kanasai! Tak boleh tahan her !!!!!
Bb-G, age @ 4years-6months-28days
The other day when SP asked me how was the taste of the food which was freezed, well the taste was still ok. Just that after the food was steamed, some of the "wap air" went into the dishes and hence the gravy would be slightly diluted.
Anyway, last week I was quite lazy and hence I did not prepare the dinner in advance to be kept in the freezer. So I went to buy a small size thermal magic pot. Currently I have one, but the pot is too big. What I need is a small pot so that the soup that I make is enough for a meal and just nice for three of us.
I found Endo. It is a small pot , I purposely put my camera bag to show the size
I am very happy with the pot and for the past few days in this week, I had already made lotus root soup with spare ribs and turnip soup with roast pork. All I need to do is to prepare the ingredients in advance and keep in the fridge. So when I wake up in the morning, I just need to throw all ingredients and water into the inner pot and then let it boil (roughly 10mins). Next transfer it into the outer thermal cast. Let it continue to cook several hours by itself and off to work. Once we come back home from work, the soup is done! Easy huh...
Dinner would be as easy as a bowl of soup , and a quick-to-make steam vegs.
I am busy this week actually, preparing and compiling information of some beauty brands in the market. Since Monday till yesterday, I dilligently work as early as 9am non stop till 6.30pm.
On each product, I have to search for its photo, the packing size, the price, and the product information. I didn't count how many products had I compiled, but I know I had done 92 presentation slides.
Anyway, today I want to curi lepak for a while to update my blog. Last weekend I prepare the below food for this week dinner.
1) Braised pork with mushroom and ear fungus. The portion was a liitle bit too much, hence we can eat for 2 days.
2) Chicken with bittergourd and fu-chuk. Recently we have trained Bb-G to eat bittergourd, and she is very well acceptance to this "bitter veg"
3) Another chicken dish, cook with eggplant and dried shrimp.
What Papa-M needs to do is to cook rice like usual, and the warm up the food.
