We spent 4 days in Papa-M's northen hometown (1 - 4 Feb). Our flight back to KL was delay, therefore we reached home quite late about 11.45am. Then Papa-M suggested to drive back to my southern hometown by the next morning (on the 5th) at 6am. He always feels more energetic when he drives early in the morning. However, by the time we got all things ready, it was already near to 7 o'clock.
We reached my parents's house about 10.45am. Luckily my hometown and my house area was not flooded.
Not long after I reached, my relatives came over. We chit chat for a while before we proceed for lunch in my uncle's coffee shop. Most of them took nasi bryani, claim to be the best in BP. I ate mi hun kueh, cooked by my aunty. Bb-G shared my food.
After lunch, mother took us to our paternal grandma’s house for a CNY courtesy “short” visit. This grandma is my late grandfather’s second wife, so she is not the biology mother of my dad. Hence, our relationship with her is not very close, and normally a “short” visit will do. When mother wanted to leave, she always took me as an excuse, saying that I had a gathering with my childhood friends. Indeed she was true. I went out with my friends for late lunch at our friend’s family business wantan mi shop. It is a must for me to eat this famous hometown wantan mi whenever I am back.

(side track: In fact, Papa-M was angry and “merajuk”. He complained that I left him alone at my parents’s house with Bb-G, while I went out with my girlfriends to eat wantan mi. Actually ar, when he was back to his hometown he also left me with Bb-G in his parents’s house while he went out with his gang of friends. So fair-fair la…. Haha..! Anyway, to “compensate his losses”, I took him (but he drove) to eat wantan mi the next day. I had wantan mi again, yum yum!)
Before the wantan mi were served , me and friends took photos. Noticed that many eyes were on us, but who cares …??

This CNY, I only managed to meet up with my stay-in-Spore friend and my pharmacist friend. They are still the same. After the wantan mi session, we went to drink coffee at a café. Both of them came the day before, and had influenced me to order the Dangan coffee. Being not a coffee drinker, I still ordered it, and to my surprised I liked it very much.

We also took some French fries and yam cake.

Before we left the café, we took a photo for remembrance. This photo was taken by a waitress, and she simply snapped the camera before we were ready. For me, it was quite rude.

After the coffee session, we went back to my parents’ house. Both friends wanted to meet Bb-G. Bb-G was sleeping when they reached. So we took some photos again while waiting for my little daughter to wake up.

Both friends left my place by evening. After dinner (I was too full, so I never ate), we went to my maternal grandma's and aunty's house. Due to too much travelling, Bb-G's "engine" had exhausted and became heaty, and therefore she had some mild fever. Luckily I brought along her medicine. We reached home before midnight, and slept until the very next day.
The next day, Bb-G was still running some low grade fever. Gave her another dosage of liquid panadol. She was well and active again by evening. Didn’t do much on the second day in my parents’ house. My mum prepared steamboat for breakfast and lunch.

Maternal grandma, aunty, uncle and cousins came over for the meal. After lunch, we went to visit another aunty. Then parents and siblings went home with Bb-G. Papa-M and me went to buy some diapers, then went to eat wantan mi and cendol.
At night, my father bought us a fabulous dinner at one Thai restaurant. I like the food there, we had tomyam soup, Thai style steam fish, bbq pork, braised pork, Thai mango salad, fried seafood cake and stir fry kalian. The dishes were so tasty and nice to eat with hot white rice.

We reached home around 10.30pm. The next morning, we drove back to KL before 7am. Again , Papa-M prefers to drive early in the morning, and partly sister who followed us back had lectures by noon.
