Since our childhood gang would be attending the wedding, why not I organize a party for Bb-G, and at the same time asked if MNHL would be interested to join me since both her kids are September babies! She agreed at once. Hence, our lunch party was fixed on 31st August, one day earlier than Bb-G’s actual birthdate.
MNHL and me had been emailed each other to plan for the party. First of all, we planned to do it in a fast food centre (Mc Donalds or KFC)…. Then my mom suggested to do it at home, she would scout for a caterer….then…..mom re-suggested to me, saying that she wanted to cook…..then MNHL suggested to do steamboat pulak…..
Okielar, finally our party served these :
Finger food – fried French fries, fried crab, chicken nuggets, crab filaments, potato prawns, Acar, otak-otak, Seremban siew pau, yam cake ...

I forgot to snap photos of my fried mi hun, mom’s curry chicken and roast chicken wings, and my neighbour’s Chinese fried rice….haiz….
Another table was set up for steamboat…

My birthday girl

Bb-G's best friend (Nanny's grandson) were invited too...

Wanted to take a photo with MNHL and her kids together-gether with Bb-G and me, but mission seems to be impossible. So I joined 2 photos together-getherlar.

Then, we have the birthday song and cake cutting ceremony..
Thanks to MNHL, she bought a delicious chocolate cake!
Candle #2 for Bb-g, candle #3 for XJ, candle #5 for YX

One birthday boy + two birtday girls.. See both girls' eyes were on the cake! So funny..

The party ended by 3pm. Bb-G was exhausted by then, she took her bath and nap after all the guests went off.
The next morning on the 1st Sept, to avoid traffic jam, we drove back to KL.
Bb-G took photo with her ahgong ahpoh before we said bubbye...

Thanks to both my parents too, they sponsored their house and energy to make the party a memorable one!
