Busy Busy December

Has been very very busy since early of this month.

Sister-in-law (Papa-M's younger sister) and her family came to KL from Sabah, bunked in my place for few nights. Parents-in-law were here too. We attended Uncle TH's(Papa-M's younger brother)wedding. The first dinner ceremony was in Klang on the 4th Dec, hosted by the bride's family. Food there was good and tasty. However I did not really enjoyed the dinner as Bb-G was very cranky throughout the dinner. She knocked her teeth and the gum bled a day before the dinner. Therefore, the pain disturbed her till she kept crying and could not sit still in the baby chair. I gotta carry her and walked around outside the wedding hall, played with her in order to distract her from the pain.
Then the following week, on the 9th, Papa-M, Bb-G and me, together with my parents travelled to the north. We went back for Uncle TH's wedding dinner hosted by my in-laws.
Due to the long journey in the car, Bb-G was unwell again. She vomitted in the car. Then she also had some low grade fever. Luckily I brought along her paracetamol and also EYS Bao Ying Dan. She was well after one dosage. However during her stay there, she was not as active as she does back at home. She vomited few times too. Could be too tired, she almost slept the whole day during the wedding day. Luckily my parents were there to help me babysit Bb-G when I was busy helping and doing some chores.

This trip back to Papa-M's hometown, we stayed in the hotel together with my parents. Mother-in-law was very thoughtful, she requested a baby cot for Bb-G .


However, Bb-G was not well, most of the nights she vomitted, hence we let her sleep in between us on the king size bed. I did not sleep well either, not because I scared both Papa-M and me would accidentally squeezed and "kiap" Bb-G, but it was because Bb-G could really flip, turn and kick both of us when she slept. Many times I was awaken by her vigourous slaps from her hands on my face, and also some leg-kicks on my chest. In the middle of the nights, I even noticed she slept far to the edge of the bed, and had to pick her back to sleep between us.

But this time, I enjoyed the dinner a lot, I could just sit on my table without running around with Bb-G. I ate all the dishes served, they were good. Bb-G slept throughout the dinner. She only woke up during the last dish, which was the dessert.

Back to KL on Sunday the 12th, onleave from work on Monday, back to work on Tuesday. So many mails and work to follw-up. Tomorrow I need to audit some depts too. Next Monday, on leave again to attend my brother's wedding registration in Putrajaya. Busy busy December indeed....!

Bb-G's Room

At last my house is done with all the paintings and minor renovation.
Previously the walls in Bb-G's room was in apple green colour, we had changed it to beige. This new colour is quite soft, but a little bit too plain. Therefore yesterday during lunch hour, I went to a nearby gifts shops to look for some wall stickers. At night, after Bb-G slept, Papa-M and me decorated her room. After about one hour, we produced a cosy and lovable corner for our little one.

After - instead of using carpet, or mat, we joined 2 pcs of mattresses on the floor. At least Bb-G can sleep there too.

Aqua

Bb-G likes to hold a pen. I just bought an aqua drawing mat for her. It is a unique and creatvie mat which I discovered during online shopping. This mat comes with a pen which uses only water as the ink. Once Bb-G draws on the mat, the water ink will stain on the mat, until it dries up naturally and dissappeares on its own. Safe and non-toxic. Important thing, MESS FREE. I simply love this product very much. My colg has been telling me that her 3-year-old keep using marker pen to draw on every part of the house. I do not want Bb-G to start this bad habit, but at the same time want to encourage her to start scribbling/drawing/writing, therefore this aqua mat really serves the purpose. ^_^

I think she was thinking real hard what to draw...

I am not sure what she drew, but I know she had fun.





(btw, Bb-G is having some fever now, due to gum inflammation -> she accidentally hit her gum and bled few days ago. And also, her dearest papa fed her with french fries while I was away on Sunday, without drinking plain water after that, and this cause Bb-G to get throat inflammation/sore throat and thus causing her this fever ....@_@
Bb-G oh Bb-G, don curi makan when Mummy is not around, Papa-M oh Papa-M, tolong tolong, next time if you want to let your daughter eat some delicious food, pls make sure she drinks ample of water, tqvm, 谢谢, terima kasih, kam siah !! )

Princess Of The Candle

Bb-G sits beside me at the passenger seat when I drive.
Every weekday morning I will only use one route to go to nanny's place. Once I buckle up Bb-G in her car seat, I start my journey. Once I come out from the car park to turn left into the main road, the sun is always in front of us, until I make another left turn (which is only few seconds later) to another main road. Then when we nearly reach nanny's house, there is a right turn up to the hill whereby the sun is again in front of us until we reach nanny's house (after few seconds too)
Each time when we are facing the sun , Bb-G will show her uncomfortable face. Morning sun rays are actually good for us, therefore I never bother and let her get some shines. However, recently I also realise that BEFORE even I make the turnings which can reach the sun, Bb-G has already "standby" and get ready to cover her face with both her hands. And she will dodge the rays by slanting her head to the side.
Wah wah wah.... I never expect she does not like the sun so much until the stage that I can describe her as a Puteri Lilin..

Flower Crab

Usually when sister comes over during weekends, I always prepare some homecook food for her. Example curry chicken, fried rice, porridge, rice with some dishes...etc.
So last Saturday we had steamboat for dinner. Only 3 of us, Papa-M, sister and me.
It was an impromptu decision, because it was raining and cold, the weather was so much suitable to do steamboat at home.
When some of the ingredients were left over in my fridge, I decided to make this for my dinner last night.

I arranged the glass noodles at the bottom of my steam tray, then followed by enoki mushrooms.

After that, I placed the flower crabs, egg tofu, white tofu and salmons.
There wasn't any garlic and ginger, so to get rid of any fishy smell from the crabs, I add in pepper, salt, chinese wine, soy sauce and chili padi. A little bit of wolfberries for the sweetness.

Easy to prepare, simple and nice.

Birthday Party

My colleague invited me, together with Papa-M and Bb-G to her daughter's 7th year old birtday party. It was organised at a hotel, by the poolside.
When colg carried her, she demanded the balloons hanging on the wall, kept mumbling "ball ball ball ..."

Halfway through the buffet lunch, all the children went to another hall for clown's show. We brought Bb-G there too. Like usual, Bb-G never bothered or scared of anyone, she just walked around the hall like nobody's business


Then came the cake cutting ceremony. Actually my colg combined her daughter's birhtday's party with her brother's daughter who is one year old. Therefore, 2 birthday girls with 2 birthday cakes. Winnie the Pooh for the one-year-old, Minnie Mouse for the seven-year-old


There was a pool table next to the place we ate, so before we went back, together with Bb-G, I took a photo with colg. Bb-G again posed in front of the camera !

Poise

Bb-G will do these in front of the camera of late. Whenever she saw me taking out my camera from the bag, she definitely "standby" and gave me her best postures.
