Squeeze, Twist & Pull

After much persuasion from Papa-M, I decided to share this story, and at least to let Bb-G know what she did to Mummy-J when she reads this post one day.

Last night, as usual, once reaching home from Nanny's place, I would put Bb-G on her cot with all her toys, switch on her favourite music DVD , then I go to bathe. Usually she would play on her own, or dance (shake her body) in the cot while watching her show until I come out from the bathroom. But last night, when I was bathing halfway, I heard her crying, moaning, screaming. So I also felt a bit worried, scared maybe she hurt herself or her gums, because recently she likes to chew hard surface toys due to teething. I quickly bathe and wipe myself dry and rushed out to see what happen. I saw her lying in the cot crying for me, eyes all red with tears and running nose. She looked so pitiful. Once she saw me, she quickly jumped and climbed up, standing in front of me asking me for hug hug. I saw her messy face, therefore quickly grab a hanky and wipe her face.

OK, something happened during the process of wiping her face. Normally when I come out from shower, I would wrap my body with the towel. And yesterday I washed my hair, so the towel was on my head, and I rushed out with dry naked body. So when I was wiping Bb-G's face, I did not realised her hand was so near to my breasts, and with a ligthning speed of action, she used her thumb and index finger to "squeeze-twist-pull" one of my nipples!! OUCH! It was so painful, that I stepped away from her. I even scolded and smacked her little fingers. Then I felt a prickling pain and when I looked down, shocked to know that my nipple had already bled. Drops of blood slowly oozing out, and I quickly wipe with tissue. Then I called Papa-M to complain. I was in pain and angry but he could still laughed so loudly till his lungs out. Bb-G who was then still standing in her cot, stared at me when I talked over the phone, smiling and giggling away too. Wah! both father and daughter really drove me crazy !!

Then when Papa-M reached home, he still kacau me, laughed at me, and called me "tetek bengkak". Very funny huh..
Papa-M, you remember this day ya, one day my daughter will help me to take revenge. I will teach her to do the same thing to you then!

In fact, few days ago, Papa-M has been teaching Bb-G what is "nen nen". Bb-G would point at his nipple and scratch his chest. See now, whenever Bb-G sees nipples she would automatically becomes AGGRESIVE ...!!

Kitchen Helpers

Yesterday when I was eating my lunch in the pantry, one colg from another department saw me bringing my own lunch box. She was surprised and asked me how I can prepare my food whereas I have a baby to take care. She herself ia a mother of 2 , one school going child and a toddler. She said my way of eating is so healthy, as outside food tends to be oilier and always come with MSG. But she was amazed I have so much time to prepare everything in the morning. So I told her I have very good kitchen helpers to help me cook my lunch.
This helper - my rice cooker. It is a small pot but comes with many functions, which one of them is to be able to cook my rice rapidly. See the "RAPID" button. Whenever I am out from shower, my rice already done.

Then this is another helper - the steamer. I love this helper very much. It can steam vege, meat, or fruits (?? I never try steaming fruits before). What I need to do is to turn the timer. No need to watch over fire. And again, my meat is done when I come out from the bathroom.

So today, my lunch consists of steam minced chicken, an omelet (which only take 1-2 mins to fry), my rice and of course come with a portion of vege soup.

Bb-G Is A Nagging Girl

Everymorning at 7am I have to wake Bb-G up to drink milk. Except for weekends she will sleep until she wakes up on her own. On weekends, I sleep until when she wakes up asking for milk.
Anyway, by 7 morning, I will go to the kitchen and make milk. Then return back to the bedroom. Wake Bb-G up by calling her name. Then, she, who is still blur blur, will look at me with a pair of Garfield's eyes. I will carry her out from her cot or sometimes sarong and put on my bed for feeding. Her mouth still latch with pacifier, eyes halfly closed. So once I took out her pacifier, she would start to mumble, and very "ngam ngam cham cham" making all funny sounds (nen nen nen nen niang niang niang bab bab bab ...) like scolding me for waking her up. Wah! just like an old lady nag nag nag all the way until I insert the milk bottle into her mouth.
I am a person who cannot stand other people nagging at me, and I hope when Bb-G knows how to talk, she is not a "nagger"..

Trip

Next week I am going for short holidays, my ever 1st time China trip with my parents, together with Papa-M. We are going to Guilin.
In fact, I feel not actually proud of myself, but more like happy and contented that I fully sponsored the whole trip - which include the air fare, hotel, meals & arranged activities (full package). Well, it is not a lot of cash, but I could still remember I told my old folks after one year of working --> " One day I shall sponsor a China trip for you two". And I did that !
I could sense that my parents are excited and looking forward to this trip, most probably never been to Guilin before, and maybe going holidays with their daughter and son-in-law. LOL...
Since I sponsored my parents, I also paid for Papa-M, HOWEVER he should FULLY responsible for all my buyings and yes, not forgetting those massage and foot reflexology during the trip ...^_^
(One thing I enjoy in China is their cheap massage. I remembered both Papa-M and me went for massage almost every night during our Shanghai trip 2 years back. So this round I would pester him to go to the massage parlour after we check in to hotel)

By the way, during October, my brother and his girlfriend are going to Guilin too. In fact they planned quite long ago, without our knowledge. But disclosed to us last Sunday when my parents came over. They plan to go there for photo shots, yes, WEDDING photo shots! I was surprised when my brother told us that the package is not expensive. The agent or could be photo shop owner offers a package of 3 days 2 nights hotel stay, follow by 2 days outdoor /scenery photo taking sessions which includes make-up, hairdo, bridal gowns (not sure how many pcs) for only RMB 2,000. Gosh only RM 1,000 !! If I hear him correctly, the most will reach to RMB 3,000, which is also cheap at RM 1,500. However, he is not sure of the photographer's skill. But for me, as long as the models look good, smile or pose naturally with the beautiful Guilin sceneries as background, all photos would sure look great! Well, anybody who wish to get marred soon, can consider this type of package arrangement....

Infant Carrier

Every morning I shall fetch Bb-G to nanny's place. Then by evening, I fetch her home. This is my weekday routine. However, some days, something unexpected can happen, for example, I need to work extra time, or I have some extra activities after work. Therefore, Papa-M has to pick Bb-G from nanny's house. Problem is we only have one baby car seat, which is always attached to my car. If Papa-M fetches Bb-G, then we need to take out the car seat and transfer it from my car to his car. Very troublesome, as after one fetch trip, then we have to transfer back the baby seat again. Or else, if I suddenly has some emergency matters to attend after work, then Papa-M will have problem to pick Bb-G home, as the car seat is with me. I could remember he had to borrow a baby car seat from a friend to fetch Bb-G. Then another incident was he has to use Nanny's grandson's car seat to bring Bb-G home.

Instead of us buying an extra baby car seat, which is not cheap, we decided to use back our infant carrier. This infant carrier is meant for babies from newborn to 6 months.

But surprisingly Bb-G can still fit into it. Her small size sometimes could be quite "advantageous" too ! This carrier would then serve as a back-up in Papa-M's car.

See , think she does not want to be an infant anymore, cry loudly when we put her there for too long.....

My First Lunch Box

Eversince colg and me decided to "boycott" our manager during lunch, the very next dayn (last Thursday), this colg of mine brought 2 packets of instant noodles to the office. Plan to eat for our lunch. LOL! We used the microwave oven to cook the noodles. I kept some seaweed flakes in the office, therefore sprinkle some on the Myojo Mi Goreng ..!

Luckily I am a person who enjoy cooking. If not, preparing my own lunch box to work could be difficult. So on Sunday, I went to the supermarket to buy some veges and meats. Back home, I washed up all the ingredients and packed it nicely in the fridge. This is to ease my cooking procedure. My plan is to cook at night and keep for the next day lunch.
I also went to Daiso, searching for those stainless steel food containers. I could not find those with 100% steel material, only has those with stainless steel base but plastic lid. Anyway, I am fine with it. Then search for a insulation bag to keep my food warm. Well, I don't expect my lunch to be 100% piping hot, but at least they are lukewarm and nice to eat during noon. Actually there is a micowave oven in the pantry, but I do not want to use so much microwave to heat my food. I feel it is not good for long term.
So, last night I braised chicken & mushroom in oyster sauce. Then this morning, before I went to bathe, just heat up the chicken, put some rice into rice cooker, and heat up a vege soup.
See... this is my 1st lunch box. .....

Add some seaweed flakes on top of my rice.

I keep the vege soup in a thermos flask.

And since I am eating in the office, I would have extra time to google for new recipes...
