What Happen In May

Hi hi hi......

Didnt know I have not blog for so long, almost one month. No reason, just MALAS.....

So, What have I done  in May...

1) First week  of the month - went back hometown to undi. During the weekend, which was a day before 5th May, I took my parents , together with siblings, we went to eat Korean food just to pre-celebrate mother's day. Wah, the Korean food was nice, and cheap. And there were so many  restaurants nearby the Korean restaurant. And lots of boutiques too! My hometown is really groWING......


2) Second week of the month -  Mid year assesment for Bb-G. I helped her to do revision at home. She had 4 papers, BM, Eng, Mandarin and Math. Bb-G couldn't focus, and lazed around too. Papa-M told me to let her be and  let her relax. Since I have the mandate, so I also relax and "bochap", so the only subject I managed to revise with her was Mathematics

Then, on the 18th, we attended bro's wedding ceremony , hosted by the bride's side. Bb-G was the flower girl.  The restaurant served good dinner.

3) Third week of the month -  On 23rd, it was Bb-G's kindy teachers-children day. So i prepared sandwich for the kids. (each kid have to contribute one type of food).
On 24th, Papa-M and me went to the kindy and collect her report card and test paper. Teacher told us Bb-G is talkative, and she keeps talking to the girl sitting beside her. So happen I met the girl on that day .The girl, who is so called her best friend , has similar look like Bb-G's cousin , Amanda in Perth... Hahaha..no wonder, Bb-G and her so ngam. 
Caught in surprise , Bb-G scored full marks for all her test papers... I was in doubt and asked if teacher did help, but was told the kids did their test on their own... Good job Bb-G!


4) Forth week of the month , which is now.... School holiday, meaning, I can lepak on my bed for another 30mins before I wake up for work.
This morning when I woke Bb-G up

Me: Helo....it's time to wake up ooo my darling....
Bb-G: zzzzzz.....zzzzz
Me: Eh....wake up wake up....
Bb-G: dooonnn....wan.....
Me: eh...it's time to wake up, I need to go to work..u have to go popoh (nanny) house d
Bb-G: I don wan, I wan to go to SCHOOL !

Amboi, bila school days, ask me why no holiday, bila school holiday, wan to go to school pulak!

This Is An Order

At 3-years-7-months old, Bb-G is so capable to give me her ORDER and INSTRUCTION!

Last night in the car while I fetched her home from nanny's house.

Me: Hi...how are you in the school?
Bb-G: Good...
Me: What did you eat in school?
Bb-G: Noodles, I finish all, you know that Karmen never finish her food...(while talking she let out one cough and cleared her throat)
Me: Eh  you ok?
Bb-G: See, i got phlegm ar...you already buy my Singulair or not? My Singulair finish already,  so long I never eat. I tel you ar, you don buy my Singulair you go and stand at the corner. If you buy Singulair, I give you sticker....
Me: *tongue tight*  (Buta-buta I kena bomb!)


Okok, story is like that....
Doc presribed Singulair (a type of medi top strengthen her lungs, she is required to take one dose per day for at least 3 months). So happened the 1st month of Singulair supply finished, and Papa-M who supposedly to get another pack for her has forgotten about it. So, Bb-G did not have her Singulair for like almost past 1 week.

So, Papa-M, today if you don buy Singulair, you stand at a corner, NOT ME, and if today you buy back Singulair, I give you sticker...

Pasta Salad

Last night I saw half a packet of pasta in the kitchen wardrobe. Not wanting to keep it for too long, I decided to cook past for dinner. Luckily I had a can of Prego Alfredo sauce, so preparing the dinner was a fuss free and an easy one.

Eventhough Papa-M, Bb-G and me had our own portion, there was still some leftover pasta.

At a flash of moment, I remember my Singaporean friend's favourite pasta salad, hence, I used the leftover pasta and make it into salad.

And so lucky I had a can of tuna chunks, and also one Japanese cucumber in the fridge.

Just mixed the pasta, tuna, slices of cucumber, salad oil (I used organic tea seed oil, I think can use olive oil too) and seasoned with a bit of salt. To give an "ooomph" taste, I also added in some cili padi. Once done, kept it in the fridge for the next day breakfast.

The cili padi really could give the salad some KICK!



Next time, I shall add more ingredient like sausage, cherry tomatoes, lettuces into the pasta salad....

Bird Nest

Eversince Bb-G was infected by mycoplasma and hospitalized, I am very concern of her health especially her lungs. So, sometimes I will give her some Chinese herbs to strengthen her lungs & immune system too. Example recently, I  double boiled cordyceps soup for her.  She didnt like it because it has some bitter taste, nevertheless, I still made her finish one whole bowl.

Then, once a while I will give her EYS Baoying Dan too.
So one day before she went to sleep

Me: Eh bb, come I wan give you baoying dan.
Bb-G: Oo...Why everytime oso eat baoying dan...
Me: U eat already no cough cough lor...
Bb-G: Eh then why you don give me bird nest, give me bird nest ...
Me: Huh? Wat u say? bird nest?
Bb-G : Yalar, give me bird nest, I wan drink bird nest!


Wah wah wah....Bb-G, you very high class hor, wan to drink bird nest !

Oi Papa-M, go and  buy bird nest for your daughter lar...!

Gathering 200413

Saturday 20 April 2013 ..

I woke up at 7.05am, went for a quick shower, woke up Bb-G, made her milk, brush her teeth, changed her pajamas. Did some final packing, then together with Bb-G and sister, I drove all the way back to my hometown, just for one purpose - "ex-classmates' gathering" (and also to visit my parents lar....)


As according to plan we made over WeChat, I arrived at LF's wantan mi shop sharp at 8.30pm. MNHL was even earlier than me, she arrived 5 minutes before me, together with her family.
And for the rest, haiz....they are the "Malaysia time" gang..... Lf and Ms K arrived 10mins before 9pm, and the 2 ladies, SL and PL arrived at 9pm.

By the time all of them came, MNHL and me had already finished our plates of wantan mi and we ate almost more than 20 biji of wantan !!

It was so nice of MNHL for her Seremban siew pau and SL for her waterchesnut pastries.
LF sponsored all the wantan, and she even packed few for us to tapao back home. Yum Yum...

After our first round of wantan feast, LF took the gang to Banang Height. It was my first time to this place and I quite like the environment. We ordered these as our "snacks"

Rojak, the sauce was tasty but a bit spicy

Steam stingray in cili padi and ginger broth. Good taste, spicy, but then, a bit salty. It should be nice to eat with a bowl of warm white rice. Anyway, the fish was fresh ...
















We also ordered fruit juice. We chit chat, laughed, talked rubbish, talked ghost stories, talked about everything until it was close to midnight and we called it a day. SL and PL went back in a car while LF fetch MNHL to the hotel and also took Ms K and me back home. She was such a wonderful pregnant woman who can lepak until  midnight!!!! 

** LF, my mom scolded me, ask me why we let a pregnant woman to fetch us back in the middle of the night!  ^_^

It was so nice to meet up with childhood friends, we are so free to talk to each other, to share our life. Hopefully there will be another gathering soon.....

Curly

Eversince I had my hair permed, in order to maintain the curls, I would curl up my hair using my electrical curler when I am free. Usually when I am busy curling my hair, Bb-G is always very excited waiting for me to curl her hair too.

Conversation

I was driving Bb-G to school in the morning
Bb-G: Mama, you want to wear the long baju?
Me: What long baju?
Bb-G: You wear the long baju ok, then cover your hand, so that your hand not hot, sun cannot burn
Me: Ooo.... you so sweet, is ok, still early, no sun yet, ok....
Bb-G: *smile*


At home one day
Bb-G: Mama ...mama...
Me: eh, why u suddenly call me mama? U always  call me mummy rite?
Bb-G: becos I call daddy ma...
Me: What do you mean you call daddy?
Bb-G: I call daddy then I call you mama ....
Me: Huh?
Bb-G: I don wan to call papa, I wan to call daddy, i call papa, then I have  to call you mummy...
Me: HUH????? (apa logic dia ya?)


In my room one day while I was keeping Bb-G's clothes, one of the socks dropped on the floor
Me: Eh bb, help mummy to pick up your "wa zi" (mandarin for socks)
Bb-G: hey, speak proper English ok, it is socks, pick up the socks
Me: OOooo ok..... pick up the socks lor....
Bb-G: hey, speak properly, cannot everytime say lor lor lor....
Me: * kena bomb*


This morning before going out to school
Bb-G: Hug hug daddy
Papa-M: Ya..hug hug...be good ok, I see you tonite
Bb-G: (tickling papa-M)....geli geli geli
Papa-M: hahahah...okok, time to go to school
Bb-G: (still tickling papa-M) .....geli geli geli
Papa-M : okok, we play geli geli tonight ok...
Bb-G: everyday I touch Ler ler's armpit and I say geli geli geli ...hahahah...
