5S

My company practises 5S - a Japanese management methodology. Every year when 5S audit come, we are all very busy spring cleaning our dept, throw away lots of unused stuffs and samples, or even document, well this is 5S all about ...
1) Sort -------->Seiri
2) Straighten ----> Seiton
3) Sweep --------> Seiso
4) Standardize ---> Seiketsu
5) Sustain ------->Shisuke

This year, my dept move to another block, so we need to redecorate our new place. And I am in-charge to decorate the 5S corner board and our staff whereabout board. And the theme for our dept is FLORAL...
Well, each dept is entitle to win RM200 XEnri voucher if win the best or nicest or most creative 5S corner board,
By the way, I am 5S auditor too, to audit other depts, and each auditor's award is RM40 Xenri voucher.. Hmmm sounds not bad ler..

Anyway, this is how I decorate the boards, something cute and lively, at least I don't feel dull. Hope I can help my dept to win this year, let's pray!

Siblings Gathering

Last Sunday I organized a gathering among siblings. It was in my company Japanese Restaurant. And it was also kind of a celebration for my sister's "graduation" from "sekolah kebangsaan" ^_^

Papa-M's brother and his future wife could not join us. Weekends for them should be busy now , since they are preparing for their wedding. Lots of errands to run I guess.

It was a Sunday buffet lunch. I specially asked for a tatami seats room. We brought along Bb-G's portable Fisher-Price chair, very useful because we can put the chair on the floor and Bb-G can sit at the same level with us. And since we were in a Japanese restarant, I let Bb-G wear her kimono. ^_^

While we were eating, she played her toy.

My brother and his girlfriend, and my sister enjoying their food. Some photos of the food they took.

Tired of siting on her chair, so we brought her up for some muscle relax excercise

She looks more like a boy in this suit

Bb-G's diaper was too full and her urine overflow. Therefore I got to change her kimono. I always bring extra clothes when I go out with her. And so happened I brought out one nice pink flower romper, quite similar to sakura, match to this Japanese restaurant too.. haha..

And guess what, we noticed that now she can even stand without us supporting her body. She stood quite steady too that day, for a few seconds before she topple down. Ever since then, she just loves to stand at home....of course with someone supporting her.

On The Floor

Sometimes when I am lazy to bring out the big mattress (which is very heavy) out to the living room, I just let Bb-G lie on the floor. Guess I need to bring back my very light weight mattress from the dobby. Papa-M sent it to wash, and since then he forgot to bring back home....I think he left it there about nearly one month..!haiz...

Both father & daughter on their tummies.

Papa-M asked Bb-G to "talk" to AS 3rd uncle over the loudspeaker phone.

Muar Bread

My parents came during one of the weekends. They stopped by Muar and bought a loaf of white bread. It is a traditional Hainanese white bread. Very soft and spongy. Normally I eat with butter and kaya, or sometimes with cheese and fruit jam. They also bought some otak-otak , so the white loaf can really go well with otak-otak sandwiched in between.
Before mum went back home, she kept some pieces of leftover bread into a plastic container. Within few days, I realised that it is full of mould. In another word, this shows that the bread really does not contain any preservatives. Because when I buy "G" brand white loaf, it will never turn mouldy even it has already expired.

Bb-G can sit

Bb-G now is 7 months old. She does not know how to crawl yet. But she can sit without support.

Free Alarm Clock from KFC

Enjoying her chicky meal ..

And she also likes to show off her new stunt - stand up straight, very difficult to put her down because she does not want bend her legs.

Even want to "hao lian" her one-leg-stand action !

Picnic

Sometimes when Papa-M and I lazy to go out for dinner, we would call for home delivery. It is the easiest way to handle our meals without going through preparation - i.e., prepare Bb-G's milk powder, milk bottle,hot water, cold water, diapers, extra clothes, napkin cloths, hankerchief, bibs, biscuits ...These are the necessities when we bring Bb-G out for a trip (which is long enough to spend about half a day or more)
One fine weekend, we ordered Nando's Chicken. Surprised to know that Nando's also come out with home delivery service. But we need to wait about 40mins to 1 hour, unlike Pizza Hut, deliver within 30mins. Anyway, since we were free, it was still alright.
We had a small picnic at our sofa, infront of the TV.
I asked Papa-M to smile infront of the camera, and he gave me this look...

Everything came in this paper bag.

ANd guess where is our dear Bb-G when both her parents enjoying their picnic?
She was so co-operative, I put her in the cradle and let her smell her bolster, gradually she slept in a gentle rocking mode...

Wonderland

Our master bedroom aircon has been spoilt for some time. Had actually get some technicians to check and change the motor, but it still cannot work. According to the serviceman, we need to do some chemical treatment so that the aircon can function normally. Moreover the weather is very hot and humid now. It is difficult to sleep without an aircon nowadays.
So currently Bb-G and I sleep in another room, it is actually a room to put all baby's clothes, toys, diapers and accesories. I join 2 mattresses together and lay them on the floor. Papa-M sleeps in another room which has a queen size bed. Initially wanted to let Bb-G sleeps in that room, but it could be too dangerous as she can roll and turn like a helicopter on the bed. Furthermore, the bed does not have any side safety rails. I am worried if she would fall down when I am soundly sleep in the middle of the night. Moreover, the bed is too small for Papa-M, Bb-G and me to sleep together.
Anyway, Bb-G seems like enjoying her "new" room very much. Even when she wakes up in the morning, she never cries or calls me for milk (normally I wake up earlier than her and do some chores in the living room). She can just play on her own enjoying her "many-bolsters-wonderland".
