She Is Not A Tham-Chiak-Poh

Bb-G woke up quite early on Sunday morning. I think she knew it was her birthday party, therefore her mood seems to be extraordinary good and energetic. Maybe for the past few days I had been telling her , her birthday is reaching soon, and also kept singing Happy Birthday song.

After her morning milk and bath, she wore her new dress & shoes bought by mother-in-law. Yes, her first time in shoes, and could see that she was a bit awkard. She kept pulling the shoes out from her tiny feet and wanted to bite them. Very funny..

When my parents and grandaunt reached my house, we carried out the traditional custom - "Item Selection" which I blog before.
On the tray I put a calculator, ruler, book, pen, thread, ang pow, a plate of rice ball + chicken drumstick + red egg , and a tea pot. All tied up with red ribbon band.

Put the tray on the floor and asked Bb-G to pick the items. At first she was a bit blur, but after she "warmed up" , she crawled over the tray and the 1st thing she picked up was the ruler.
And all of us said Wah.... and clapped loudly! My father-in-law was then saying loud and cheerfully "ooo next time Bb-G is an engineer! " and everyone of us laughed.

Then we let her continued to explore..the second stuff she took was the angpow, followed by pen, thread, book and calculator.




On the tray left only the tea pot and food. We were waiting to see what food would she pick to eat. She just touched the rice ball, then crawled and crawled around the tray and crawled away. My mother gave a conclusion - Bb-G is not a "tham-chiak-poh" .Haha!



Bb-G was too happy and clapped her hands during group photo taking with the grandparents.
