Lunar Birthday

Yesterday was Bb-G's  lunar birthday. She is considered  "officially"  3 years old ^_^

Reached home last night after work and immediately went to the kitchen and made red hard boil eggs and cooked some mi-suah. While I was preparing the meal she was playing with my kitchen utensils...hmmm...hopefully in future she has interest to cook like the mother...ceh wahhhh....

The dinner was ready after  30 mins, and by that time, Papa-M reached home. The timing was just right to celebrate a simple makan time with Bb-G.

Mischievous

Conversation 1:

Papa-M went to pick up Bb-G from nanny's home one day. In the car with him was his staff, whom Bb-G always calls him Uncle Charlie. When Bb-G went into the car....

Uncle Charlie : Hello Princess ...
Bb-G: Hello Handsome !
Papa-M & Uncle Charlie : (Jaws dropped & LOL)

Conversation 2 :

This morning Bb-G woke up on her own and went into our room. I was still bathing then, and she crept on to the bed and slept with Papa-M. I came out from the bathroom and I heard...

Bb-G: Mummy, nen nen
Me: Hi ...good morning...u woke up d ar....Did she wake up in a good mood (i ask Papa-M)
Papa-M : yes (nod his head)
Me: baby, u never say good morning..
Bb-G: Good  morning Mummy
Me: somemore, good morning to who (i was pointing Papa-M at his face)
Bb-G: silent...
Me: eh...good morning to who (still pointing at Papa-M's face)
Bb-G: Good morning CHEEK !
Me & Papa-M : walao hahahahhaa! very cheeky ar ..

Long Legs

During the Raya holidays, my parents were here to visit us. My cousin sister from Singapore and aunty came over too. When they saw Bb-G, they had the same comment - she is getting taller, but not wider! Hahaha ...

True enough, Bb-G growth in terms of height is quite incredible. I notice it whenever we are in the lift. Day by day, week by week, she managed to reach a higher number of the lift button. Next, when I let her dress in skirt, the skirt becomes shorter each time.

Sporty attire in a mini skirt . Front view revealing her long legs

Trying to be cheeky

Shame Shame .....can see panties

Follow Mummy

Having Bb-G at home can be quite funny at times. Being a girl she likes to immitate what the adults do.
Examples...
When she sees me  putting lotion, she follows
When she sees me putting face moisturizer, she follows
When she sees me blowing my hair, she wants that too..
I have a bottle of BB Cream, she will squeeze and  use it on her face....

Now, after her shower & hair wash, she wants me to make her like this

Fine Japanese

My boss , I mean the real BIG BOSS has 2 Japanese restaurants in KL. One is just next to our office, whereby colgs and me usually dine in. The other one is really located in the mid of KL town. I went there a few times during my overseas guests's visits.

Yesterday my department had the priviledge to have a great dinner with the big boss. And with the big boss around, the food served was amazingly GOOOOOODDDD!!

We had fine Japanese cuisine - an eight course meal served in Kaiseiki style....

As I was too engrossed with the food , I forgot to take some of the food photos. haiz...
1st dish-  the duck confit salad with avocado and foie gras with some sweet apple dressing, very appetizing
2nd dish - smoked sea trout, super soft and delicious

3rd dish - the sashimi set, the 2pcs of tuna belly in the middle were so juicy, fresh and almost melted in the mouth...super yummy. We were advised to eat the prawn, then move on to the flower arranged sashimi(yellow tail) then the last one was to savour on the tuna belly...

The full set looked like this. I specially like the side dish - a glass of sweet vinegar full with collagen and mango, which to be taken after we were done with all the cold dishes.

4th dish - prawn broth, served in an elegant way. The chef specially made for us, it took him 3 hours to prepare this dish....Smelled and tasted heavenly

5th dish - fried prawn head which came from the prawns which was used to make the broth

6th dish - baked eggplant with Japanese blue crab meat, topped with sweet miso paste and corns. When the dish was served, my tummy was almost 80% full. This particular dish was a tad too sweet in overall. If the chef used cheese (instead of miso paste) as topping, then I think it could taste better. Anyway, it was a good one though due to the fresh crab meat

7th dish - Oh my god, guess what, this was the main course, after we had eaten 6 dishes!! By the time it reached my table, I was already full , I couldn't finish my main meal completely. It was braised tuna jaw. My ever first time tasting such delicious tuna dish. It didn't smell fishy, but tasted like meat (sort of beef texture). When the captain served it on my table, I thought it was lamb shank.

8th dish - dessert , chocolate mousse with green tea red bean mousse. The sweetness was just right.

Besides having the Kaiseki, we had white and red wine, cherries, grapes, walnuts and cheese.
I went home with a VERY FULL BELLY !

So Many PEOPLE

Bb-G has too many soft stuffed toys, and all of them were given to her. I have a hard time to keep them at the proper place without Bb-G making mess again and again...haiz....

Every night Bb-G will bring her konco-konco to sleep with her, and each time she will shout for me and said:

"Mummy mummy so many PEOPLE, come and take photo !!"

Bb-G and her "people" sleeping on the bed

Pretending to sleep ......

Goodies

Finally our department had shifted and settled down in the new office lot. During the shifting process, there were so many "goodies" to be picked up.

These are the free samples I've got..my colg who had completed her project wanted to throw away her samples, so me, the garbage collector ambil lar....

Then, when I was packing my ex-manager's room, there were so many skincare products given by various suppliers for our reference. Some of them were not relevant to us, hence ambil lar... since most of the products meant for aging skin, there are very perfect to be given to mothers, aunties and elder cousins ....hohoho....my presents for them sempena Hari Raya Aidilfitri ^_*
