Monday, 15/10/2012, Perth

After 2 days of family outing, today we decided to do some shopping. Sis-in-law took Papa-M and me out.  Bb-G was left at home, together with the rest of the kids, parents-in-law took care of them. When we were not around, they had their fun too. Mom-in-law told us they played the Little Red Riding Hood, she was the nenek, father-inlaw was the datuk (did Red Riding Hood had any grandpa character?), Joe gor gor was the wolf , Bb-G and Mandy were the Little Red Riding Hood... hahahahaha....

Anyway, we went to a departmental stores, I couldn't recall the name, but there were many anchor tenants like K-Mart, The Cole, etc...etc...It was a shopping day, and we brought back lots of chocolates, snacks, candies, sauces and cookies ....

The food we ate on that day in the foodcourt

Sumo Salad - this one was a mixture of chicken with avocado dressing, tasty

Roast pork set, came with peas, pumpkin and carrot. I don't like it at all, the pork had very strong porky stench. I basically liked only the gravy and ate the peas+carrot+pumpkin+corns

While I was waiting at the meal table,  for Papa-M and sis-in-law went to a Chinese stall to choose their food. Paid AU$10 for this Chinese Zat Fan

We went back feeling very full......

Sunday, 14th October 2012, Perth

Woke up by 6.45am, sis-in-law brought Papa-M and me to the same market we went yesterday, but this time, we went there for the "car park" sale.
Variety of stalls were set up in the car park area. People there selling household items, books, clothings, toys, groceries, decorative items, etc.,..etc.... Some stalls were selling second hand items too, and they looked in pretty good condition. Selling in a very cheap way somemore.

I've got myself a pair of sunnies, some second hand books for Bb-G, caps and toys for the kids. Papa-M bought some shrits, pants and  "toys" for himself too...

Went back home, and the kids and adults were all awake. Next thing was - we were all prepared to go for another family outing - heading towards Swan Valley. We were going to have BBQ at an animal farm !

This was the place we went.

The weather was so cosy on this day. I like the farm so much , we had opportunity to get close to the animals, to feed them , to touch them. And it was well equipped with playground and huge area of greens, safe for the kids to round about.

Grandpa with his grandchildren and the goats

The 2 girls were not afraid of the animals at all.... that's good

Beautiful grass....so nice to laze around....

Playground time

Then I brought the kids for a too too train ride...

Supposedly it was a cosy seat for Bb-G and Mandy , then Papa-M hopped in to sit with them...Adoi...

Mandy said: Da-jiu, our cart is for 2 tiny persons only ler...

There was a session for the kids to feed the lambs. Opportunity was given to the those kids whose brithmonth  fall on October.. Haiya, since Bb-G's birthmonth was September, I muka-tembok let her sit at the front row, but then, after she fed, we let the other kids to try too...

Each kid was given one bottle of milk.

After much activities, it was time to eat. Thanks to bro-in-law and his friend, they were the master chefs at the bbq pit.

We had lamb chop, sausage, egg sandwich, salad, and grilled portobello mushroom. Next we moved on to feed the animals. There were buckets of bread+lettuce as feedings. The kids had one on their hands.

Bb-G fed the kangaroos and rabbits

There were Llamas too

A pink fat pig

Turkeys were so large and appeared fierce, the kids were scared of them, they were running away from the birds

At the "chicken cage"

We have to wash the hands after feeding the animals

Me washed Bb-G's hands thoroughly

She didn't have enough of the swing, pestering me to swing her as high and as fast as possible...

By late evening, most people left the farm. We too. before driving back home, we stopped by a chocolate factory. We tasted some samples and I bought a pack of milk chocolate for Bb-G and one bar of mint chocolate for Papa-M.

Saturday, 13th October 2012, Perth

Woke up in the morning at 6.30am. Get myself prepared, together with mom-in-law and Papa-M, sis-in-law drove us to a large morning wholesale market at 7am. Bb-G was still asleep, and I left her at home with bro-in-law.

According to sis-in-law, the market is only open once a week for the public, that is Saturday. Since we would be having BBQ on the next day on Sunday, it was just nice to do our marketing ^_*

Mom-In-law and me went to the fish market first. Fuuuuyoh! the place was so packed and I hardly moved around. The floor was wet too. 8 words to decribe the place - people mountain people sea....seafood mountain seafood sea.....hahahah... many people and many types of fish, prawns and shells .... I wanted to take photo, but I was so scared somebody may bump into me and I dropped off my camera... so better don't. End of the day, I took the signboard when I went out from the place...

While mom-in-law was queueing up to pay in the fish market, I went to meet Papa-M and sis-in-law at the butchery. Hmmm....this place was better....at least not crowded. Beef, mutton, pork, chicken could be found here. Very cold somemore....

Next, we moved on to the vegetables and fruits market.

Lots and lots of fresh vegs and fruits. We bought a carton of fresh mushroom... that was only for AU$5, cheap huh...

Papa-M showed his dislike face.... This fella is an anti-mushroom..

Now, it is the strawberry season

Mom-in-law choosed a beautiful cauliflower

First time I saw people could actually buy so much food in cartons from "pasar"...hahahah

After spending roughly 2 hours, we went home. The kids were already awake , took their breakfast too. The first thing I asked them to do was to hold a mushroom each and took their photo. The mushrooms were that big !

Then, we were all preparing for a family outing.
I like this photo , both Bb-G and Baby JJ fully dressed up while waiting for the rest.

We went to Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour. Too bad, it started to drizzle and rain when we arrived. It was wet and cold.

We had these for lunch at Cicerellos,Fremantle
Fish and chips

Grilled fish and salad

Fried squids

Spaghetini for the kids

No plate concept, but who cares...the kids had fun eating their pasta from paper!

Very tasty, slurrrrppppp

After lunch, we went to Fremantle Market. We could find stalls selling clothings, souvenirs, lotion, cream, handicrafts, decorative items, food, honey, etc...etc...Not large, but cosy to do some shopping

First time I saw ostrich eggs. Teribbly BIG!

A group photo before we departed to another destination - dessert time!

Our next destination - Chocolateria San Churro

Famous for their so called "elongated doughnut" , to dip in hot melted chocolate...

This hot chocolate was nice too...

The kids enjoyed the most , I believe...

Finished the dessert, went back home. Had our homecooked dinner. Chit chat, having some snacks, sleep.
