Never Judge A Book By Its Cover; Never Judge A Food By Its Menu.

Last week, colgs and me went to the mall for market survey. As usual, we would have our lunch , scouting around what to eat. So happened we walked past a Taiwanese Restaurant. It looked good, so we decided to lunch there. Once we entered the restaurant, waitresses provided good services. The ambience was fine too.
Next we were given menus. All the food photos were nicely organized, printed with high resolution, and it indeed made all the food look super delicious.
Wihout hesitation, I ordered this set lunch - pork shoulder something something...

When the food was served to me, it indeed open up my appetite. But after a few spoonfuls, I begin to dislike the taste. The chefs put too much bay leaves (or basil) into the pork. Maybe Taiwanese enjoy such strong taste of the herbs, but I found it a bit too strong to go with the pork. The side dishes were not good too. My set lunch came with bubble tea, which I didn't enjoy at all.

We did not enjoy our lunch. After finishing our market survey, we went to have some deserts before back to the office. And this time, satisfactory.
