Tension

We flew back to Papa-M’s hometown via Air Asia for CNY. First time we flew back with Air Asia, previous year we took MAS. I never know that LCCT was so terribly packed with people during festive season. We reached the airport 1 hour earlier than the boarding time. As it was very very crowded, we couldn’t find our check-in counter. After much search we were told to check-in with a bunch of crowd who was considered late comers. I was carrying Bb-G (our flight was 7.10am) while Papa-M queued to check-in. Upon reaching the counter, and when the officer required Bb-G’s identical card, Papa-M was stunt. We forgot to bring along Bb-G’s Mykid card nor the birth cert. We could not check in! Very panic, Papa-M pulled our huge luggage while searching for me. I was standing at one corner then. He used his sign language and asked me to go over to another counter. The counter that we approached was a counter for complaints. An Indian man was complaining and talking so long with the officer, and this made us feel very “gan jiong”. Papa-M asked me to stand close to the officer, and pretend very pitiful, so that the officer would sympathized us and let us check-in without the document. My act was successful , supported by Bb-G’s facial expression – her eyes were sleepy and watery, a bit swollen and half open, she looked very pitiful too. Therefore, the officer let us fly. Happily, we quickly rushed to the boarding gate. There was another long-long queue. When we were following the row, Papa-M realized he had forgotten to check-in our big luggage. He quickly ran to the check-in counter. Again, I felt panic, as I was quite close to the gate. I let the people behind me to enter first while waiting for Papa-M.
Anyway, we managed to board into the plane few minutes before the plane took off. It was a tension experience for both of us.
